The San Marcos Unified School District is an innovative and collaborative community providing an unparalleled educational experience. Through an engaging and supportive environment, all our students are challenged, inspired and poised to excel. Double Peak School, which is its inaugural year, offers 3 unique opportunities for all of our students: Instrumental Music, Art and Innovation (engineering, design and coding). All students will have access to each of these unique opportunities starting in kindergarten. These opportunities will build upon each other creating a K-8 articulated experience. 

Double Peak PTO provides funding for music, art, athletics, the Leader in Me program, an Innovation/Engineering program, a Makerspace lab for creative thinking, as well as many other enrichment programs. This event, the Grand Opening Gala, which will be held on February 25, 2017 at the ballroom at California State University San Marcos, is the major fundraiser for the school to support these programs. We are expecting more than 200 attendees, as well as over 1000 viewers of the online auction.

On behalf of the PTO I am requesting an in-kind donation to be used as part of our online auctions supporting this event. We are a 501c3 entity, tax ID 47-3651152.  Donated auction items will be posted on our online auction website. Our auction website is not just a silent auction…it’s an online auction with mobile bidding! Through our online/ mobile bidding service, your donation will be viewed weeks in advance in order to capture the attention of the 950 school families and thousands in the community who will be bidding on your donation remotely as well as at the event.
