Dear Friends of Children:

 You probably know us by now.  For fifty-five years, Downey Side has found families for children trapped in foster care.  We specialize in helping older children, siblings and kids with special needs.  Typically, Downey Side’s children are about 11 years old when placed.  That is more than twice the national average.

 Since 2004, we’ve held annual fundraising galas.  The money raised allows us to fill the large gaps in placement costs not covered by government funds.  This means we can help more kids find families.

 So how can you help?  We’re asking you for a donation of an itemized item, gift basket or a gift certificate that reflects products and services you offer.  Or you can visit our website and make a monetary contribution to help us buy prizes for the virtual auction.  Donations can be sent to Downey Side, 103 Washington Avenue, Lavalette, NJ  08735.  If you have any questions or would like to arrange for a gift pickup, please call 732-359-8434.  Thank you for your support!  We are confident that our children and families will be grateful for your donation and will enthusiastically patronize your business/enterprise.
