The Downingtown STEM Academy Home and School Association is thrilled to continue our tradition of providing the senior class with an all-night event after Prom. Post Prom is a drug and alcohol-free event that takes place at the school. 

We all know that drinking and driving are unfortunately too often associated with Proms. Statistics show that school-hosted post proms reduce the number of of drug and alcohol related incidents on Prom night by more than half. To keep our Seniors safe and to give them an amazing experience we have been hard at work planning this year’s National Park themed event called Into the Great Wide Open. This event is from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. and is filled with food, music, prizes and activities.  This year, in partnership with To Love a Canine Rescue Inc., our senior students will also be playing and interacting with dog rescues to try and help them get adopted. This is a tradition that was started by STEM Academy’s Principal, and is well loved by the students! 

STEM Post Prom is always a huge success and attracts close to 100% of the senior class; even students who do not attend the Prom come to Post Prom because they know that it will be a fun evening with their friends before graduation.
