At this event, typically attended by our 750 students as well as at least 100-200 family members, the kids take turns running around our grass field, making as many laps as they can. It is great to see how proud and happy they are of being able to participate in making their school better. Our Jogathon is a super fun school spirit filled event that promotes a healthy life lifestyle while helping raise funds for the school.

 The pledges collected by students participating in the fun run will go toward the grants that we give our teachers and school to enrich the learning of our students due to many district budget cuts over the past few years.  This includes 1 day of librarian salary, a bus for every classroom for field trips, a classroom supply grant for each classroom, all physical education and recess equipment, $12,000 in money for enrichment instruction spread over grades Pre-K through 5^th, a reading program the PTA runs November through March, and much, much more.
