Garfield Elementary School is a small school located just under Coit Tower in San Francisco, California. We are a small, diverse, Title 1 school with 45% of our student body getting free and reduced lunch. Garfield PTO supports our school community by funding arts programming such as Chinese Opera and Hip Hop Dance, classroom libraries and supplies, our garden program, and the 5th grade camping trip. In addition, we are funding a staff position for the Reading Intervention teacher starting this year due to significant budget cuts. Due to Shelter in Place, Garfield Elementary School has shifted to an online auction for our Spring fundraiser. Our auction will run for a week starting May 14, 2021. We are currently seeking donations to use in our auction for the school community as well as local friends and family.
