Description
The casino-themed fundraiser will enable the organization to partner with more low-income, under-served, and under-resourced individuals and families during their educational journey that will help them to move out of poverty. Approximately 90% of those we serve are single mothers. Our graduates enter the workforce with middle to high income jobs, which enables them to reduce their debt and reliance on government assistance. Within 5 years they have broken their cycle of poverty. Our board president is an example of how effective our services are as he broke his cycle of poverty. His grandchildren were not born into poverty.
