Description
Dreams for Haiti (a 501c3) is a group of concerned citizens helping the poorest people of Haiti. We start by educating the children in our school. Then we help the parents by starting them in our animal project where they receive a pair of chickens , a goat or a pig. We have sewing schools, jewelry making classes, agriculture classes and start ladies in their own small street vending business. We have feeding programs for the children. We also have taken in 4 orphans when a bad orphanage closed down.
Our golf scramble is our largest fund raiser and the more prizes and raffle items we have the bigger the attendance. The bigger the attendance the more we are able to feed the starving children.
