Designed as an annual fundraiser for our large percussion section, students from throughout District 202 perform a variety of high-energy percussion pieces, drumline music, solos, and percussive comedy! A Percussion Petting Zoo from 5:30-6:30 PM before the concert is offered for kids and adults of all ages to come in and play the percussion instruments with the help of some PCHS Percussionists! Play the instruments, talk to the directors and performers, and take a look around before the concert! Our band students are playing on many instruments which have been around since immediately after the 1990 Plainfield tornado. Percussion instruments cost roughly $6000-$15000 each so it is difficult for us to replace them even on a rotating basis.
