Description

We would love your support for getting kids involved in activities.  Don’t Sit It Out is a non-profit project working under the 501c3, The Maidez Center.  Our mission is helping kids to experience life when they don’t have the means themselves.  We focus on providing financial support, equipment, or other support to help make sure kids who want to get involved with the arts, athletics, community events, or other experiences, have the opportunity to do so.  We will be hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner that helps students in the Monroe and Randolph County and Metro St. Louis area.  Funds raised can also help our Northern area including Vernon Hills, Mundelein and parts of Lake County in Illinois.  We hope to inspire the youth in our communities to pursue their passions.

For our Murder Mystery Dinner, scheduled for January 14th, 2023 in Smithton Illinois, we will be doing a dinner and fundraiser where we will be having a silent auction, raffles, and 50/50s all to contribute to Don't Sit It Out.  We hope to have around 200 people attend.  Our main attendees come from the Smithton, Waterloo, Red Bud, Chester areas, St. Louis area, and other areas around Southern Illinois and St Louis Metro. Our organization assists kids aged 5 to 18 who can not afford to go to different experiences.

We are looking for donations of gift cards, items that can be used for silent auctions, or items that can be combined for raffle or live auctions.  We are also willing to distribute promotional and advertising items to our participants such as pens, notepads, t-shirts, hats, bottle openers, etc.   All proceeds go to support the kids in local communities.

Please help our local children not sit it out and experience life!!

Please contact me if I can help to discuss any details in person.  Donations can be mailed to 107 East Mill St, Waterloo IL 62298, or call to discuss any questions or suggestions you may have
