Every year, Delta Sigma Pi - Alpha Omega chapter hosts our annual Philanthropy raffle for Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Last year we raised a total of $3,000. We partner with a ton of different companies across the United States for raffle prizes. We use an online raffle creator and reach out to different companies around the Chicagoland area for raffle prizes. These donations can range from gift cards, merchandise, or experiences. This year, since our goal is higher, we want to be able to attain interest from people outside the Chicagoland area since a lot of our members are from out of state. The online raffle lasts one week and members are required to market and sell $35 worth of tickets. Participants purchase a ticket and enter what prize they would be interested in. We pull mulitple times for our raffle, so a lot of participants who bought raffle tickets will recieve their prizes.
