DUCKS UNLIMITED

Elk Grove/Galt Chapter

January 1, 2024

Ducks Unlimited Supporter:

On May 4, 2024, the Elk Grove/Galt Chapter of Ducks Unlimited will be celebrating the 87th Anniversary of DUCKS UNLIMITED- with a fundraising banquet.

The mission of Ducks Unlimited is to fulfill the annual life-cycle needs of North American waterfowl by protecting, embracing, restoring and managing important wetland and associated uplands.  Ducks Unlimited has an impeccable reputation as an extremely efficient 501 (c) (3) non-profit group and is the leader in California for wetland habitat conservation.  In fact, Ducks Unlimited is recognized as the largest waterfowl and wetland conservation organization in the world.

Presently, we are in the planning process of our banquet and, once again, asking for your assistance.  With donations from businesses such as yours, the Elk Grove/Galt Chapter has conserved thousands of acres during the past years through its annual banquet fundraisers.  A donation of cash, merchandise and/or gift certificate(s) will be greatly appreciated.  During the banquet we will recognize and promote the patronage of our donors – thru signage, the banquet program, and announcements during the auction and raffle.

More than 275 area people, who will recognize your business as a community leader, are expected to attend the Elk Grove/Galt event.  The funds raised from this banquet will be expended toward habitat conservation programs that not only benefit waterfowl, but more than 600 species of animals, and serve as very important ecological components to humans.

As the success of our fundraising event depends on the generosity of our donors, we thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

John Calava- Committee President
