On November 3, Families of Children With Cancer will host a fundraising event: Dueling Pianos. 100% of funds raised go to help families who have had a child diagnosed with cancer. We will have a raffle at the event, along with other fundraising activities, a chicken dinner, and dueling pianos entertainment. Our last Dueling Pianos event raised over $7,000 and we hope to continue to raise similar or additional funds. Families of Children With Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization whose mission is to take the burden off families dealing with a pediatric cancer diagnosis, so they can concentrate on the sick child and siblings. We offer financial support, mileage reimbursement, networking events, scholarships, bravery beads, duffle bags for in-hospital stays, and more. Last year, we had live news crews on site from 2 tv stations.
