Founded in 1854, Central Methodist University is a four-year, private, liberal arts university. CMU's main campus, home to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is located in Fayette, Missouri, enrolling 1,100 students. More than 4,000 students attend CMU's College of Graduate and Extended Studies, which offers classes online and at sites across Missouri and the region. On July 14, 2023, Central Methodist University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will host its annual Eagle Athletics Silent and Live Auction with Dinner inside Puckett Fieldhouse. More than 250 people attended the last event, held in July 2022, raising over $90,000 for CMU Athletics. This year bidding will be open in person and virtual for all alumni and friends to bid on, from all over the country. Event proceeds support our 650+ student-athletes on our varsity and reserve athletics teams.
