The Old Bonhomme PTO uses funds from Eagle Parties to provide programming to our students & their families.  An Eagle Party is a sign-up event in which families can pay a fixed price to attend an event designed for kids, families, or adults only.  These events are hosted by families, teachers, or the PTO to help strengthen the bonds within our school community and to help families and children build new friendship and relationships with other students and families.  For example, parents could register their children for a Lego party at a cost of $15 per child.  The students attend and build Lego figures that they can then take home.  As part of the event, we may supply popcorn & juice boxes to help encourage conversation and new friendships.  The cost of the Legos is deducted from the per student cost and the remaining funds are donated to the PTO.  

Through business sponsorships & product donations, we can create Eagle Parties to raise funds for our PTO to provide extensive services for our culturally and economically diverse student population such after school class programs, family & student events, teacher grants, community giving events, special school project funding like new furniture for our library, and more. 

There are many unique ways you can partner with, or sponsor, our PTO – for example:

• Gift cards or gift certificates that can be used to purchase supplies for Eagle Parties
• Food or product donations that can be used for Eagle Parties
• Donating an experience (e.g. tasting), food or cultural event, or party where registrants fees are donated to the PTO
• Donating a camp session or class for kids/families
• Donating free passes or memberships 

Any donation would count towards our sponsorship levels, outlined in the attached brochures.  Because Old Bonhomme PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization, any donation – in-kind or monetary is tax deductible.
