Keep Oakland Beautiful is a volunteer-run organization working to create and sustain a beautiful, clean, green, and litter-free Oakland through education, community engagement, volunteer action, and cleanup events.  

Every year, Keep Oakland Beautiful awards small grants to Oakland residents to support City of Oakland Adopt-A-Spot beautification efforts, organize and host cleanup events, support city wide tree-planting efforts, and distribute thousands of daffodil bulbs to be planted in visible locations across Oakland. 

This year, we are organizing and supporting several cleanup events leading up to Earth Day.  To celebrate our volunteers and the community’s shared vision of a clean, green Oakland, we are hosting our 3rd Annual Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 29th at Humanist Hall in Oakland from 6:00-9:00 PM.  The event is an exciting opportunity for community members to connect.
