EAST Initiative is an educational nonprofit that transforms schools and communities by empowering students with technology, encouraging critical thinking and creative problem-solving, and engaging kids in positive, real-world experiences. One of the many ways we accomplish this is through training.

EAST promotes accelerated education through service and technology. Nearly 260 schools around the state of Arkansas have EAST programs. Each summer we host our EAST Seminar to provide top-rated professional development for educators. This year, EAST Seminar will be held July 19-21 in Hot Springs. Although, this event moves to a different area of the state each year. More than 250 EAST educators will gather from all over the state to learn and share their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for changing students' lives.

In celebration and appreciation for the hard work of these Arkansas teachers, EAST seeks support for door prizes to be given during EAST Seminar. This activity energizes and motivates the attendees.
