El Camino High School POMcats Dance Team is looking for donations (gift certificates,
merchandise, etc.) for the 2023 Dance Show Raffle Giveaway occurring on April 27-29, 2023.
POMcats are not funded by the Oceanside School District, therefore all monies needed to
participate and compete in Regional and National Competitions is funded by parents and
fundraising. Currently we are working on raising funds for the 2023-2024 team. Funds raised
will help with uniforms, as well as coaches and competition fees.
The POMcats competed at USA Nationals this past weekend and for the 1st time since the
inception of POM in 2013, the EC POMcats placed in numerous categories and were a
Champion Finalist at USA Nationals. With over 80 high schools in attendance El Camino
competed and placed in the following categories:
1st place Extra Small Dance – Open Category (Trio with Cadence Massey, Lily Roundtree and
Bella Hickman)
3rd place Medium Lyrical – Open Category
11th place Solo Super Dancer Category – Lily Roundtree
and...
In the Large POM/Dance Category the EC POMcats made it as a Championship Finalist
and placed 2nd! 2nd in the NATION!
We are very excited for Coach Mia Nelson & our 2022-2023 team and want to raise as much as
we can for next year's team! Any donations are so greatly appreciated!
