Description

A nonprofit founded in 1970, ECLC provides “Education, Careers & Life-long Community” to nearly 900 individuals with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities.  We are leaders and pioneers in the field of special needs.

The ECLC Foundation is the fundraising arm of the ECLC family of organizations which includes, two state-approved schools that provide individualized instruction at no cost to families, fulfilling the state's Student Learning Standards. In addition, Community Personnel Services, an ECLC affiliate, helps prepare students and young adults for life after graduation through transition services, support coordination and supported employment. The Pride Adult Program, also supported by ECLC is a day/evening program serving adults with developmental disabilities, with centers in Chatham and Saddle Brook.

The ECLC Foundation also funds and operates after-school, weekend, evening recreational, social and enrichment opportunities for all the children and adults we serve in the ECLC family of organizations.

The Chatham Annual Dinner and Auction includes a sit down dinner and tricky tray auction. The event is intended to bring our community together for a relaxed and enjoyable evening, creating awareness of ECLC and its clients, and raising monies for our various needs.

Donors and sponsors will be recognized, according to donation/sponsor level, in the program and signage the evening of the event, providing positive community visibility for the orgainzation or donor.

All proceeds will help ECLC provide opportunities for children and adults with special needs, empowering them to achieve their maximum potential, enhancing their quality of life, and aiding them on their journey to becoming happy and productive contributing adults.
