The Efland Cheeks Community Center proudly serves over 400 children and adults by providing essential literacy and enrichment programs. Our offerings include tutoring for students from Pre-K through 12th grade, Adult GED classes, a county-wide youth council committee, a senior food service program, Bingo game days, free community exercise classes twice a week, and monthly events such as Movie Night, a Community Easter Egg Hunt, and a Christmas Gift Giveaway.

We are also reaching out for support for our upcoming Community Back-to-School initiative on August 16, 2025. This event aims to help families facing financial difficulties by providing them with essential school supplies and clothing. Our goal is to offer these families necessary educational materials, informational resources, and prepared food items for the enjoyment of both children and families.
