Description

Dear Merchant,

On December 3rd 2018, The Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Social Service Center will be having an Employee Appreciation Day to celebrate the amazing people who make our work possible. We are seeking donations to use for door prizes and gifts. Please consider donating an item to help us with our cause.

At The Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Social Service Center, we serve over 6,000 individuals and families each year in one of our five residential programs.  We have a Substance Abuse Recovery program for men and women, a Women’s and Children’s Homeless Shelter, a Men’s Homeless Shelter, a Veteran’s Homeless Shelter, and a Domestic Violence Shelter.

We also have a Home Sweet Home program which offers emergency assistance to individuals and families who are at risk of becoming homeless. We do this through Financial Education classes and support and through our Food Pantry and Clothing Warehouse.  The people we serve come from all walks of life, and it takes an army of 145 employees to make this happen every day.

Thank you for your consideration in advance. If you should need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Sincerely,

Nancy Mora
