Walden has been nurturing children's natural wonder and teaching that we all have stewardship for the world in which we live for more than 50 years. Your support helps maintain and enrich the school's educational programs, enhance music and the arts, technology, the campus, and provide faculty professional growth.

Founded in 1970, Walden is an independent elementary school for Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Walden provides a developmentally appropriate program to a diverse community of learners that encourages responsibility, initiative, child-led inquiry, ethical behavior, and excellence.

Walden depends on generous support of the community to do the important work of educating future community leaders. Your donation will receive significant recognition throughout the Walden community, which draws from Pasadena, San Marino, South Pasadena, Glendale, Los Angeles, and the greater San Gabriel Valley, and includes alumni that span several decades.
