Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve personal and economic empowerment.

SI of Los Angeles members create, conduct, develop, and/or support programs that promote the health, safety, and personal and professional growth of women and girls. 

We will be holding our annual awards luncheon and fundraiser on May 18, 2024 to award six educational grants - four Live Your Dream awards and two graduate fellowship awards.   We will also be holding a silent auction to raise funds for next year's awards.

Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. 

Our Joan Johnson Graduate Fellowship award is for outstanding graduate students in Los Angeles County.
