Dear Community Member,
The 2022 Encinitas National Little League (ENLL) season is off to a great start, and we are so
excited to welcome back our Home Run Derby and Silent Auction and Raffle on April 24th! As
you may know, Little League is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Each year ENLL volunteers
help more than 450 children enjoy this great sport of baseball. Our league is self-funded, in
contrast to many other leagues which receive support from the city in which they play. That is
why we are asking you to help us in a fundraising campaign that will benefit our children and
our community.
As is the case every year, we need to purchase and replace various items of equipment and
uniforms. Additionally, we must pay rental for the fields and as well as pay for the care and
maintenance. Through these fundraising efforts and the help of more than 100 volunteers, our
organization strives to adhere to the three main values of Little League Baseball: Character,
Loyalty, and Courage.
This year’s fundraiser is in the form of a raffle/silent auction to be held at our Home Run Derby
on April 24, 2022. This raffle and silent auction, along with our food sales, is one of the few
opportunities our organization will have to raise the needed funds.

We are looking to the generosity of local businesses to help. Therefore, if you can supply an item
for our raffle or silent auction, it would be greatly appreciated! We hope to make our big day a
fun and profitable event.
