I am with the McDade Bulldog Band Boosters.  McDade is a 1 A school.  Our McDade Bulldog High School Band is composed of students from grades 8 through 12th grade.  The band contains 40 members.  They are an award-winning band.  For the UIL marching competition in Giddings, they earned a score of all ones (the highest possible rating). This score qualified them to compete at the UIL state competition in San Antonio in November of 2023.  They made the top seven bands.  They brought home a sixth-place finish for the state of Texas. At the Bastrop UIL concert band competition, they earned a score of all ones (the highest possible rating).  

On May 4th,  we will celebrate their accomplishments at the end-of-the-year band banquet.  We will have a silent auction of donated items/gift cards to raise money.  The money raised will go towards the upcoming marching season and senior scholarships.  Please consider donating gift card(s) or items that could be sold at the silent auction.
