This year, Manhattan Youth Ballet began its 29th year of pre-professional ballet training for children ages seven through 18.

for those who may not know about us, Manhattan youth ballet was founded by executive artistic Director Rose  Caiola in 1995 on Manhattan's Upper West side. Ms Caiola's dream was to create a pre-professional ballet school with a team of instructors with varying dance backgrounds. In 2008, Manhattan Youth Ballet moved to Ms Caiola's dream space of Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, an 18,000 square-foot multipurpose facility, dedicated to serving the evolving needs of New York City arts community.

the school has grown from a two level program into a six level graded curriculum that includes classes in technique, pointe, men's technique, partner, character, contemporary, and Pilates. Each year, MYB serves over 100 students from New York City's tri-state area, placing its graduates to some of the worlds leading dance companies.

As a nonprofit program, we rely on the generosity of family, friends, neighbors, and business associates to meet our annual budget. Every fundraising effort we undertake has a genuine need, and our gala and auction is no exception.

We hope that you will be able to provide us with a donation or gift for this event. Like all of our fundraising efforts, the proceeds go directly to support our training efforts; workshops and master classes, taught by leading artists, scholarships, and live musical accompaniment.

Our benefit gala will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024, and it's the largest undertaking on our fundraiser calendar. Every gift received helps ensure our budgetary goals are met.
