Description

Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference is a nonprofit, youth led, service-learning and outreach organization with the mission to inspire and empower youth in leadership and service. We currently have 700 youth involved through our school-based service learning clubs, after school committees, and community engagement programs. Youth meet on 13 school campuses from Placerville to Folsom and at two youth centers to organize and implement projects for those struggling most in our community. For fifteen years, our proven model has not only served thousands of TODAY's less fortunate - we are cultivating a community of civic-minded and socially responsible citizens for generations to come.

Endless Summer Beach Party is our largest fundraiser of the year. This adults-only event celebrates the accomplishments of the past program year and raises approximately 25 percent of our annual budget. Attendance is estimated to be about 250 supporters. We are planning to include raffles, silent auction items (that will also be available via our online platform to those not attending the event), and a small live auction; with the goal of raising $28,500 through these means. This is a 15% increase over what was raised at last year’s event, as we aim to keep up with the needs of our growing organization and increasing demands in our community. The proceeds will be used to help the most vulnerable in our community while teaching youth invaluable life skills of leadership and service.
