Description

The Engineering Softball Classic is a volunteer-run softball tournament that features teams from engineering and construction firms in the Baton Rouge area facing off in friendly competition to benefit charity. All profits made during the event are donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Over the past seven years, over twenty different engineering and construction companies from around the Baton Rouge area have participated in this event. Each year, approximately 300 people attend the tournament, either as players or spectators. Although softball is the main attraction, a major goal for the event is to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
