I am writing to you on behalf of The Fenwick Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2011. The Fenwick Foundation exists to provide social, entertainment, and educational opportunities for limited-income individuals living at nursing facilities, other senior facilities, VA Medical Centers/hospitals, and facilities serving individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities, physically ill or convalescing individuals, caregivers, and/or disadvantaged citizens. Our purpose is simple but critically important and essential: to give people with very limited means a chance to improve their physical health and psychological state of mind by “getting out of the house.” 

We are reaching out to you today to see if your organization might be willing to provide The Fenwick Foundation with complimentary tickets to your Castle, so we can share them with our local partner programs. These types of events make for wonderful therapeutic activities for those we support. 

The Fenwick Foundation is a unique service in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan areas, as well as other locations along the East and West Coasts. Individuals served are low/limited-means residents of facilities, veterans and active military and their families, caregivers, and other vulnerable groups, many of whom are unable to afford opportunities for entertainment, sporting events, a meal out, a social affair, or an educational event. In partnership with performing arts centers, theaters, museums, sports facilities, restaurants, and other venues, we give them a chance to enjoy themselves by attending an event in the community—something many of us take for granted.
