Description

The EOPS/CalWORKs program of Copper Mountain College holds semi-annual EOPS/CalWORKs banquets.  EOPS is a state-funded program serving the academically and financially disadvantaged student with counseling and other support services to ensure completion of educational goals. Student success is our number one priority. EOPS assists eligible students to reach their goals through academic, personal and transfer counseling, a book service program for books, and other services.

These award banquets honor EOPS/CalWORKs students who attain a GPA of 3.0 and above. Forty percent of EOPS/CalWORKs students will be honored for their achievements in Spring 2016 with 53% of those students also achieving the College’s President’s List. This event, the highlight of each semester, has proven to be a powerful motivator for those disadvantaged students who are attempting to change their lives through education.
