Evening of Hope
Gala/Party for Hope HappensApr 27, 2017 from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Our gala will feature a performance by St. Louis’ award-winning jazz vocalist and songwriter Brian Owens in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall. Honoree will be Dr. Larry Shapiro, retired Executive Vice Chancellor for Medical Affairs and Dean of Washington University School of Medicine.
As always, proceeds from the event will be used to fast-track collaborative, translational research at the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders. Forms that provide details about sponsorship benefits, a reply envelope, and an informational brochure are included.
Hope Happens financially supports the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders at Washington University School of Medicine where scientists seek treatments and cures for neurological disorders, including ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, stroke, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, brain and spinal cord injury, and many others.
As you know, the need for treatments and cures for neurological diseases is enormous. The enclosed brochure highlights Hope Happens’ collaborative efforts and partnership with the Hope Center and features some of the country’s finest physicians and scientists and their most recent pilot project research.
The 13th Annual Evening of Hope will begin with cocktails and a seated dinner in the Sheldon’s Spiering Room followed by Brian Owens’ performance in the Concert Hall. Principal Sponsors receive two dinner tables for ten, tickets to the concert, and a dessert reception with the artist. In addition, sponsors will be recognized on the invitation, the evening’s program, social media, and other publicity for this event.
