Description

Bri's Lodge, a program of What Would Bri Do, is a local non-profit that is committed to providing support and resources for individuals coping with loss. Our goal is to help individuals navigate their grief journey, support their healing process, and foster physical and emotional well-being. To that end, we are actively working towards building a healing lodge in Central, MN. This retreat center will serve as a safe space for individuals and families to gather and begin the journey of healing after experiencing loss.

Since our recent relocation to Waite Park, we have expanded our reach, enabling us to better serve our community's needs for grief resources. We offer personalized 1:1 companioning and closed support groups. Additionally, we collaborate with Angel Reins to provide services like "Horses Healing Hearts." Our new office space allows us to offer "Healing Through the Five Senses" activities, such as art and music therapy, as well as activities for children. Lastly, we have plans to implement a retreat program, including day and weekend retreats, until we can officially construct our own retreat lodge.

To achieve our goals and ensure that no one in Central MN grieves alone, we are seeking support from caring individuals, families, and businesses like yours. Your partnership will help us create a safe and nurturing space for those in need of grief resources in our community.

As we gear up for our Evening of Hope, we kindly request your support by donating items for our silent auction. The funds raised from this event will directly contribute to providing much-needed assistance to those in our community who are navigating their grief journey. We have found that certain items tend to generate the highest bids and create excitement among our attendees. These include handcrafted items like baked goods, jellies, metal art, and wood projects, as well as sports memorabilia, and tickets. Additionally, liquor-themed baskets, lottery tickets, outdoors-themed gifts, and gift cards have proven to be popular choices.

Our annual Evening of Hope event consists of a meal, cash bar, short presentation that includes grief speakers, live music, silent auction, and games of chance.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of our request. Your support is pivotal to our mission, and we sincerely appreciate your contribution.
