The Maria Carrillo High School Band Boosters are hosting “An Evening of Jazz” on April 12, 2024, at Ellington Hall. This fun night of dinner, wine, and music from our award- winning Jazz Bands will feature a silent auction to raise funds for our entire high school instrumental music program. We’re reaching out to the community for support and donations to make this event a successful and exciting evening.

 The MCHS Band Boosters support the Concert, Symphonic, & Jazz Bands, and Orchestra by providing funding for instruments, music, and audio equipment. The Boosters also promote performance opportunities by providing transportation and scholarships to music festivals and competitions throughout the state. There are 200 students in this instrumental music program, and no student is turned away for lack of financial resources. Without donations and community support, this program would not be possible. This is why we fundraise: to keep music education free and available in our school!

 Our attendance for “An Evening of Jazz” is estimated to be about 200 people. Participating businesses and sponsors will be acknowledged at the event and featured on both our website and Facebook page.
