We are planning for another fabulous Evening Under the Stars on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at a new location - L&L Walhalla.  We need your help to make this evening a huge success!  Although I’m sure you are asked several times a week for a donation, we hope that you will consider supporting CIS – the only dropout prevention program proven to both decrease dropout rates and increase graduation rates. If you would like to contribute to our silent or live auction, a donation form is enclosed for your use. Of course, your contribution is tax deductible to the extent of the law. We will be happy to pick up your donation or you can drop it off at our office.  
 
Your contribution helps to fund CIS programs, changing the lives of at-risk students by providing support services that eliminate the barriers to learning and educational success.  CIS serves 57 schools and more than 42,000 children in six school districts: New Braunfels ISD, Comal ISD, Seguin ISD, Marion ISD, Schertz Cibolo Universal City ISD and Luling ISD.   
 
CIS develops character and self-reliance in students through guidance and activities, improves our students' involvement and attendance in school, and addresses challenges such as academic, behavioral, mental health, or social issues that interfere with success.  Support from sponsors like you helps Communities In Schools provide our children with the skills, opportunities, and hope that every child deserves.
