Description

Okizu’s 21st annual Evening Under the Stars fundraiser will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the Timber Creek Ballroom in Roseville, and will feature lively silent and live auctions, a gourmet dinner, and entertainment, all to raise funds for Northern California kids with cancer and their families.

Okizu’s mission is to help all members of families affected by childhood cancer to heal through peer support, respite, mentoring, and recreational programs. For 43 years we have made our services available to these children and their families free of charge, due in large part to this annual event and supporters like you. This summer we are thrilled to welcome our campers back to Camp Okizu again at rented campsites. The search for a camp home of our own continues, after the destruction of our Butte County camp property due to wildfire in 2020.

Please consider a tax-deductible donation to our event auction to help us keep Okizu’s programs running strong. Your donation will be acknowledged in our printed program, distributed to all 200+ guests, as well as on-site with promotional material and signage at the silent auction portion of the gala.
