Redondo Ballet, a dynamic and emerging non-profit 501(c)(3) pre-professional ballet company provides a
nurturing, challenging and creative environment that enables dancers to artistically thrive, while
simultaneously teaching the dancers to be compassionate citizens of the world. The company is holding
their annual fundraiser, An Evening with Redondo Ballet, on Saturday, June 13, at Dance 1 in Redondo
Beach, the home of Redondo Ballet. We are looking for donations towards our silent auction, raffle and
wine grab. The proceeds of this fundraiser will help fund the philanthropic program, Ballet in a Box,
which takes the gift of dance to underserved dance organizations and schools, not only across the U.S.,
but around the world. The fundraiser will also help fund our two large-scale productions (Through the
Pages and The Snow Queen). 

These productions and programs are only possible because of the very generous donations of time,
supplies, expertise and money. In light of tightened budget strings across the U.S. for arts education,
Redondo Ballet has made a huge impact on, and has played an integral role in filling this needed void for
the members of the ballet company and to those that we serve with our Ballet in a Box program: But we
desperately need help to be able to provide this important arts outlet and to continue to take the charitable
outreach to those in need.
