Description
The PTAs main focus this year, and likely for the next few years, is the country-wide critical teacher shortage due to unprecedented levels of stress and job disatisfaction. And this year, Teacher Appreciation Week culminates in EVES Community Day.
Community Day's main goals:
- Raise money that we will directly benefit our teachers (to include a remodel of their break room as a Wellness Room)
- Ensure our teachers have a day to relax and enjoy themselves with their families
- Rebuild a sense of community with our school families and our school staff after COVID
It is our plan to have:
- food trucks
- music
- bouncy houses
- face painting
- games for kids and parents
- silent auction
- raffles
