Expanding Lives is a local 501(c)3-certified charity that promotes the education and development of young women in West Africa. We act on research that shows that strengthening girls’ education is the best return on a development dollar. Expanding Lives participants receive funding to pursue higher education and organize educational events for girls in their communities to foster an environment that values education for women. 

We are hosting our annual 5K fundraiser on July 20, 2024 at Erickson Woods in Winnetka. We would greatly appreciate any donation that can be used in our post-race raffle! Donors will feature prominently in event materials and speeches.
