Description

Philanthropists, Executives, and Business Professionals walk the runway to keep youth safe and to stop bullies.

The Positive Alternative Recreation Teambuilding Impact (PARTI), a non-profit organization, is committed to empowering the youth of California and the San Francisco Bay Area. The ExPosure Bullying Prevention Event is scheduled for Friday, October 18th, at the Glass House in San Jose, California and we request your support to keep youth safe and to stop bullies. Distinguished guests include 3-time NFL Superbowl Champion and San Francisco 49ers Legend - William Bubba Paris, Tony Thurmond, California Superintendent of Schools, Domingo Candeles, City of San Jose Council Member, and Eric Williams, VP at Kaiser Permanente.

Need: A survey report released on May 4, 2022, revealed that an alarming 46% of teens aged 13-17 have been victims of bullying. As October serves as National Bullying Prevention Month, PARTI is dedicated to addressing this pressing issue with a positive approach.

Benefit: The event will feature corporate executives and business professionals on the runway, representing the protection of our youth and the endorsement of youth-led initiatives. These initiatives include the creation of Bullying Prevention Toolkits, which will be provided to schools experiencing high rates of bullying and violence, offering them effective strategies to combat bullying.

Impact: The ExPosure event strives to establish conflict-free zones for diverse youth populations and to create opportunities for cross-cultural and intergenerational connections. The initiative emphasizes diversity and inclusion, the promotion of safer school environments, and the enhancement of student engagement in racial justice and civic activities. It empowers participants and attendees by providing them with valuable resources.
