Family Advocacy and Community Training (F.A.C.T.) and People First St. Charles will be holding their 3rd Annual Rock n Roll fundraising event on August 12, 2023, at the Harvester Lion’s Club.

F.A.C.T., a nonprofit organization that started in 1987, has been able to assist thousands of families that include a person with a disability in St. Louis, St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, Jefferson and Franklin Counties and St. Louis City.

People First is a group run by and for adults with developmental disabilities. People First members work to affect change in the community by advocating for individuals with disabilities.

Though it has never been easy, this year has presented special challenges for the families and people we support. And now we must rise to that challenge because the families we serve have a dream that is worth preserving. That dream includes living in communities where all people are loved, valued, included, have friends, and are able to learn in a safe environment. This is the same dream we all have. The difference is that the families we serve face exceptional challenges because their children have a developmental disability or a mental health challenge. F.A.C.T. provides services to these families in an effort to ensure each family has the tools and resources needed to live their best life.
