Fairmont Château Laurier Trees of Hope for CHEO is a magical event that helps kick-start the holiday season, while raising much-needed funds for CHEO.

Team Tree Decoration Opportunities

A special 2021 price is available; the cost of decorating a tree is $1,500. Tree sponsorship is a great team-building opportunity, and your company or group name will be displayed on a sign in front of your tree, so everyone will know which tree they are voting for in the People's Choice Awards. Each company or group may have up to six team members participate in the decorating day at the Fairmont Château Laurier on November 29. The two themes this year are "Home for the Holidays" and "Let It Snow", as noted in the Tree Sponsor Packages (which you can access on the Trees of Hope website, or by contacting Lydia Blanchard at lblanchard@cheofoundation.com). Teams are responsible for purchasing and/or making their own decorations. Your beautiful tree will then be placed in the public spaces of the Fairmont Château Laurier from November 29, 2021 until January 3, 2022, and displayed for all to see in an online virtual tour.

Online Auction

People's Choice Awards

The People’s Choice Awards will be live and online this year. There are two ways in which you can participate:

1) If you are an overnight guest or are dining at the hotel, you can see the trees in person.

2) A virtual tour will be available online throughout the month of December.

Encourage colleagues, friends and family to vote on their favourite tree, all while donating to CHEO. If you donate $25 or more, be sure to also check out the "Sparkle & Shine DIY Contest" details!

Sparkle & Shine DIY Contest

Deck your halls, win some holiday cheer and help the kids at CHEO. We want to see your holiday tree!  Make a donation of $25 or more and send us a photo of your tree, to be entered for your chance to win one of three amazing prizes, each valued at $230 or more! (Prize details can be found on the Trees of Hope website.) The winner’s photo will be posted on the Trees of Hope website and on social media, for all to see.  Make it fun: get friends and family to enter as well, for a friendly, virtual and socially distant competition.
