Description

It’s Par-Fun at CSS’s Mini Golf Tournament “Fairway to Wellness” in Castro Valley

On Friday, September 30th, Crisis Support Services of Alameda County (CSS) will be hosting our Mini Golf Tournament Benefiting Crisis Support Services Youth Programs at The Golden Tee Golfland in Castro Valley, CA.  The “Fairway to Wellness” tournament begins soon after our 6 p.m. start time and each foursome will have a chance to tackle Golfland’s duo 18-hole courses, featuring the Enchanted Journey or the Adventure Quest.  Try your luck at the Foggy Cove, The Clock Tower or Sleeping Beauty’s castle, overseen by the ever-watchful giant red, blue and golden dragons!  The top scorer will have the honor of wearing the Jacket of Champions.

This family-friendly event supports the youth programming at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County. We operate a 24-hour hotline, youth text line, school and community-based counseling, and also school and community-based educational presentations. All of our services are focused on reducing suicide and crisis, and improving wellness in our communities. We have been providing educational presentations throughout the county and in Castro Valley High School and Canyon Middle School, as well as schools in Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Pleasanton, Fremont and Newark.  In 2020 we received more than 50,000 calls on our hotline and over 30% of our total client outreach takes place in the South County area. We are proud to have helped so many of Castro Valley area residents and neighbors.

We help children, youth, individuals, and families dealing with depression, mental illness, and suicide — truly offer a safety net to those who are in crisis regardless of what they are capable to afford.  If you have any questions about this event or the work we do, feel free to contact us.
