It's time for our 2nd Annual Fall Auction benefiting Good Samaritan Services!

The Event:

We are excited to announce our online Fall Auction Benefiting Good Samaritan Services as an evolved weekend adventure, September 17th - 19th, 2021! With hundreds of bidders and thousands of dollars in auction items, we've seen success! Not only in our ability to raise funds to support our at-risk community members but also in our supporter engagement. With a live-feed showcasing our donated auction items, a fully automated bidding system, and a fiercely competitive bidding edge, we've found a way to create an engaging and exciting event from the comfort of one's own home.

The Cause:

Good Samaritan Services provides a full continuum of care to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. They offer emergency shelter, transitional housing, affordable housing, and housing support services across Lancaster and Chester Counties.

Take a look at what we have been able to accomplish since the start of our fiscal year, July 2020:

• 331+ men, women, and children served in our Emergency Shelter, Residential Housing, and Housing Support Services

• $82,400+ provided in rental assistance, including 18 eviction preventions

• 104 participants increased their income or reduced their debt

•52 individuals and families successfully completed programs and are now living independently

• $6,800+ awarded through our Microloan and Matched Savings Programs

• 1 NEW Emergency Shelter in Ephrata,PA increasing our ability to serve

Overall, we are responding to the needs of our communities. Good Sam is on the frontlines and is providing critical services during this pandemic and every dollar makes a difference - 97% of our funding comes from donors.
