Description

On November 2nd, Sequoia Elementary, a Title One School in the Oakland Unified School District is hosting a Fall Carnival. It’s a special event that brings 450 students, caregivers, neighbors and teachers together for a day of fun, games, and community building. 100% of funds raised help the Sequoia Parent Teacher Organization (SPTO) continue to support things that Oakland Unified cannot, like enrichment classes, academic tutors, technology updates, and our teacher reimbursement fund for school supplies.

We appreciate your consideration and hope to work with you. We would appreciate anything that you may be able to contribute. Our school has an amazing community. We have a truly diverse student population and events like the Fall Carnival/Raffles and donation drives allow us to pay for key staff like our PE Teacher, play yard attendents, culture keeper, supplies for each classroom and field trips.
