Fall Carnival Silent Auction
Carnival/Festival for Sandburg Elementary School FoundationOct 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
The Fall Carnival is our biggest afterschool event. We open the campus to the community where kids can participate in carnival games, a cake walk, and enter a jack-o-lantern contest. The highlight of the event for the parents is our silent auction. The proceeds raised by our Fall Carnival go back to the Sandburg Elementary Foundation.
The Sandburg Elementary School Foundation is a volunteer-based organization founded on the premise that our students thrive best if given a lovingly supported, well-rounded school experience. To deliver on this experience, the Foundation coordinates funding and volunteer efforts in support of two key objectives: Engagement and Enrichment.
ENGAGEMENT– Engaging our students and their families not only promotes a sense of community but also emphasizes the importance of our involvement in our children’s development. The Sandburg Foundation hosts a multitude of events throughout the year to give families the chance to experience Sandburg Tiger pride at its finest.
ENRICHMENT– Enriching our students’ academic curriculum affords them a higher quality educational experience. The Sandburg Foundation identifies ways to supplement our school’s current curriculum and provides necessary programs and environments to set our Tigers up for success at Sandburg and as they transition to higher education.
