Description

The Office of New Student and Family Programs is proud to announce its annual Silent Auction for parents and family members at the upcoming Fall Family Weekend. All proceeds raised from the Silent Auction directly support student leadership scholarships through the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management. Student scholarships are critical to recruit and retain outstanding students and provide the support necessary for them to graduate and succeed.

We are asking for your support in donating an item or two that can be placed in the auction. Examples include: tickets to a show, tour, or sporting event, a stay in your hotel, or a gift certificate. In return, we would like to acknowledge your business in our Fall Family Weekend publication. Also, we would be pleased to place a flyer, brochure, coupon, or business card inside Fall Family Weekend bags distributed to all attendees at check in. All donations will be included on our Fall Family Weekend website with your business's logo and a brief description of the item.

Every fall, Georgia Southern University hosts Fall Family Weekend for more than 2,500 parents and family members of our current students. This year the event will be held on September 27 & 28, 2019. Throughout the weekend, family members will participate in tailgates, football game, block party, and quality time with their student.

Please assist our efforts in raising much needed scholarship dollars by contributing an item for the Fall Family Weekend Silent Auction. Your participation would be greatly appreciated.
