Description

The last year and a half have been incredibly difficult for businesses and schools alike, showing how important both are to the health and success of our communities and families. At Monroe Elementary we greatly value the partnership we have with the business community and have encouraged our families to support those partners just as they have supported public education.

 

Monroe is a San Francisco public school located in the Excelsior District, with over 550 students in three language pathways: Spanish Immersion, Cantonese Bi-literacy, and English. Monroe’s PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) supports students and families by funding recess supervision, field trips, dance classes, classroom supplies and books, cultural celebrations, and more.

 

Though we had to significantly scale back our fundraising activities, canceling both our annual carnival and auction last year, we expect the financial needs at Monroe to be greater than ever as we return to campus full time this fall. Therefore, we are currently seeking prizes for our Fall 2021 raffle which will be on October 30. If your business is in a position to a make donation at this time it would be incredibly appreciated by our community.
