The PTO of Hammond Eastside Magnet (HEM) School is preparing for its Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 30, 2021. We were not able to host our festival last year and we are hoping to make this year’s event bigger than ever. The festival will feature games, activities, music, food, refreshments, and fun for all. The purpose of the event is to encourage community engagement through an inclusive experience for families of HEM and serves as a fundraiser for the PTO. We can only meet our goals with the assistance of community members like yourself. Today, with just a small donation, you can help us improve our school, enhance our playgrounds and invest in our children. Our event usually brings in about 400-600 people the day of the event. 

Hammond Eastside is an International Baccalaureate World School Primary Year Programme and Middle Years Programme. The positive results of the PYP and MYP will become evident in our Hammond community as classes of PYP and MYP students graduate and undertake activities that enhance social, cultural, and economic environments locally, nationally, and internationally. 

We are requesting sponsorships/donations for this event to make it the best Fall Festival to date. Your contribution will afford us the opportunity to provide engaging activities and programs for students/faculty throughout the school year. All sponsors will be mentioned on a sign at the entrance of the Festival, posted on the PTO website, Facebook page, and newsletter. If you can contribute, please make your check payable to HEM PTO and write “Fall Festival” in the memo line. Hammond Eastside PTO is a 501c3 Nonprofit which means your contribution is tax-deductible. Please use this letter and a copy of your check as your receipt. We will also be hosting a Silent Auction during the Fall Festival. If donating an auction item is a better fit for you, the PTO will graciously accept donations for our Silent Auction.
