Dear Friends of St. Bernardine,

St. Bernardine of Siena School is in the process of preparing for our annual Fall Festival and Silent Auction, to be held October 6th to 8th, 2023. Our Fall Festival is the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It’s a time when the school, parish, and community gather together for a fun-filled weekend of exciting rides and games, delicious food, live music, dancing, cultural events and best of all, spending quality time with family and friends. This year, we are thrilled to be celebrating St. Bernardine’s 60th Anniversary!

The Silent Auction portion of the festival takes place in a large tent, situated between the dining and entertainment areas. All proceeds raised from the Silent Auction go directly to fund projects that benefit our students and their school environment. This year, we are raising funds to complete the following projects: purchasing outdoor tables and seating for students to use during group activities and at snack and lunch time; purchasing new bleachers for use during our students’ basketball and volleyball games; and painting the school’s interior including all classrooms and common areas.

For 60 years, St. Bernardine of Siena has been an outstanding K-8 private school. Our staff and student body focus on being Spiritual, Academic, Servant and Visionary Leaders. We emphasize studies in Science, Language Arts and Math through small group instruction, exploration, and interactive projects. We offer meaningful opportunities for student leadership at all grade levels and ensure students experience Music, Fine Arts, P.E., and Spanish throughout their curriculum. St. Bernardine of Siena also emphasizes the importance of service to others and incorporates “giving back” projects throughout the academic year including preparing packages of essential items for our unhoused community members, beach clean-ups, volunteer days, and charity drives for the Guadalupe Center. The welcoming atmosphere that makes St. Bernardine unique is evident in the number of multigenerational families at our school. Our students are diverse, happy and understand the important role they play in our community.

We are seeking items from donors like you and local businesses to be put for bid at our Silent Auction. We will be collecting items from now until September 15th. Your donations are tax deductible. Our non-profit tax ID number is 95-4234671. Festival attendees, school families, and community members can bid on Silent Auction items through our online bidding portal. Auction donors and sponsors will be featured on the website and auction home page. Donations can be emailed to stbonlineauction@gmail.com, delivered to the school at the address below, or picked up by a parent volunteer which can be arranged through Nannina Angioni at (310) 467-9796.
