January 2024 To Whom it May Concern, I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of the Yadkinville Elementary School PTA, I am reaching out to humbly request your support and generous contribution towards our cause. We are a non-profit organization that consists of parent/teacher volunteers to assist our students and staff with their needs. We host small events and fundraisers throughout the year to help us get to our funding goal for that particular year. We have recently completed an outdoor learning classroom for our students. Last year and this year our goal is to raise enough money to buy new playground equipment for our students. Unfortunately, at the county level we do not have funds set aside to help with this. Something we are also looking into helping the school update is its security system. This fall, date to be determined (we are still waiting on final approval for the 2024-2025 school year), we will host a Fall Festival and have a silent auction. At this event, typically attended by 800 plus community members, we auction off items such as services, gift cards, sporting event tickets, concert tickets, theme park tickets, autographed memorabilia, vouchers, merchandise and more. We were able to raise over $9,000 at this event last year due to organizations such as yours who were able to donate. We would greatly appreciate any donation you can make. If you donate for the silent auction, your business/organization will be recognized on our social media platforms as well as during the event.
