Public libraries are community institutions where all residents are welcome. They are the cornerstone of  our democracy.  The Western Allegheny Community Library, is an important community hub that serves as a center for learning, professional development, and healthcare resources. In fact, there’s only one place in our community where students can access free Wi-Fi, a senior can find socialization opportunities, jobseekers can receive resume help, business professionals can host meetings, and community members can receive free tax preparation: it’s Western Allegheny Community Library. Here, people come together to learn, as well as share and celebrate where we live, who we are, and what we want to become.

We couldn’t do the work we do without the generous support of our business partners. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. Western Allegheny Community Library is currently looking for in-kind donors to help  support our work. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference. 

Fall for Your Library is the community’s premier wine and food pairing event. Over 350 guests come and  enjoy food and beverage pairings, music, games, and auctions. The 2022 Fall for Your Library is scheduled for Saturday, September 17th from 6 to 10 PM at Celebrations in Imperial, PA. Our goal this year is to raise $65,000; with support from incredible partners and supporters like yourself, we can reach that goal!
